Winter Wishes

When I saw this Poppystamps die I just had to have it. I thought it would make the perfect design for my multiple-make Christmas cards this year. The red bird is by Gina Marie and the snowflake is by Little B. I used a heat embossed sentiment by Hero Arts. and some metallic silver bakers twine. For some reason, the red is showing up too bright, but it's actually a cranberry red.

Calendar Pup

While digging through my stash the other day I found a package of these cute little mini calendars that I had intended to use for stocking stuffers. SO glad I found them before 2020 began and they're outdated, awk! The calendars are by Taylored Expressions. I colored up a sweet puppy image by Bug-A-Boo stamps, and added a magnetic strip on the back. This one is for a friend who has an adorable little Yorkie named Tucker, so I couldn't resist using this.

Autumn Blessings

I needed just two more Thanksgiving cards this year so sneaked into my craft room and pulled out this Poppystamps die (Festive Turkey) and put it on a tag by Taylored Expressions. The papers are by DCWV from Harvest House, and the embossing folder is by Tim Holtz for Sizzix .

Another day in Paradise

I haven't been up to much crafting this past week but I did manage to pull out some of my Spellbinder and Poppystamps (Whittle palm tree and alligator) dies to make this fun card. The sunburst and pond were cut out of an old greeting card that my sister sent to me, and I used inking and masking for the sand and grass. Now I realize that some people wouldn't consider an alligator to be fall into the category of paradise, but isn't he just the cutest?!

December 25th

Here is another cocoa packet stocking stuffer. This one uses a tag die by Gina K Designs, along with the Holiday foil sheets by Thermo-web and Gina K. For some reason, the mug looks like it's pink, but it's actually a true red and similar to the color of the tag. I guess the foiled sparkle is confusing my camera.

Merry Snow Folk

Mermaid Tea

My 6 year old granddaughter likes to call anything multi-colored and glittery "mermaid", so when I decided  to make the tea pouring from the pot into the cup glittery and sparkly, I kept thinking, "mermaid tea". So Mermaid Tea it is! I used dies by Paper Smooches, a sentiment by Unity Stamp Co, paper by DCWV, and Stickles glitter glue. The award die is by MFT and I added teeny rhinestones for extra sparkle!

I used a label die by Spellbinders, stamp and die by Dare2BArtzy, and punched hearts for this card. The embossing folder is by Sizzix. I'm trying to get these posted before I leave for two days to help with the grandkids...so my posts are short and sweet!

I die cut this mug from recycled packaging that was just too fun not to toss out. The mug die is by Paper Smooches and the steam die is Dare2BArtzy. I also used an embossing folder by Sizzix, and label die by Cuttlebug.

Hug in a Mug

I like to make little stocking stuffers every Christmas to give to friends and to thank those who give me good service throughout the year. So I made 10 of these, with different decorations, and will tuck in tea packets, cocoa packets, and a candy cane.
The  die is by Paper Smooches and I used paper by DCWV. The label is Spellbinders and the sentiment is by Unity Stamp Co. I heat embossed the sentiment in white.

This sentiment just makes me laugh..so of course I had to turn this into a card as well. I cut out the little coffee cups from one of the patterned papers in the collection and popped them up on foam tape as embellishments.

I bought this great coffee themed collection by Photoplay last year and finally got around to using it. I'm making some packets of coffee-themed cards to give to my friends at our annual scrapbook and crafting retreat in January. Since we're all coffee drinkers, I thought these would be fun.

I wasn't sure I would get around to making any cards for the Coffee Lovers Hop this time around but once I dug out my coffee themed supplies I got inspired. This card uses a stamp by K.Andrews, some burlap paper by DCWV, and label dies by Spellbinders. I stamped the sentiment, Thanks A Latte on the inside of the card. The card background was stamped with the Thank you Turn-Around stamp set by Concord and 9th.

All is Calm

I pulled out my laminator and some foil design sheets by Therm-O-Web and Gina K Designs to make this sparkly card. You can't see the shine of the foiled sentiment very well in this photo but it's a pretty bright glue. The tag die is also by Gina K Designs. I may make a batch of these in one go around as they come together quickly.

Thanksgiving Blessings

I realized that I really need to start on my Thanksgiving cards if I want to send them out on time, so I pulled out this Gina K Designs autumn stamp set and used the sentiment as a focal point. Just added some burlap paper by DCWV and a button die by MFT. The wreath making stencil by Gina K makes cardmaking fun and easy!
