Coffee Cafe

TTCRD challenge 26, AGI've had this stamp set by Sunny Studios and never used it. As I've been going through my supplies and reorganizing things, it's like Christmas morning as I discover things I didn't know I had! When I saw that little cafe table with two coffee cups on it, I had to make this. The scalloped rectangle is by Kat Scrappiness, and the tag die is by Taylored Expressions.Wouldn't this just be the perfect way to spend an hour with a friend on a nice spring day?

Holiday Skating

I've had this stamp by Recollections for years and years and only now inked it up! Now it might become one of my favorite winter and Christmas images. I added a teeny coffee cup by Waffle Flower and colored it all with alcohol markers. A few stamped snowflakes here and there finished it up.

Latte Love

I made another card with the Daily Grind collection and the Stamplorations stencil, Latte. I like the bold look of this stencil colored in bright blue and the fun polka dotted background paper. The printed journaling card has eyelets in each corner, and twine threaded between two of them along the side.

Hocus Pocus Coffee

I bought this coffee themed collection by Simple Stories called The Daily Grind a couple of years ago and love the papers so much that I dug it out again this year. I combined it with the Latte stencil by Stamplorations, and added my favorite white twine and layered paper flowers. That sentiment on the coffee cup makes me chuckle and I wish I had a mug like this one!

Christmas Cheer

I'm not sure if this image represents hot cocoa, or whipped-cream topped coffee. Either way, it's a yummy winter beverage and perfect for this pretty Christmas card that uses Stampin' Up papers from an older collection called Festival of Prints. The papers in this collection are so beautiful and easy to coordinate. All I had to add was some white twine.

Hello Sunshine!

We are in the middle of a heat wave this week, so this sentiment couldn't be more appropriate. I used the Summer version of Stamplorations' stamp set, Coffee for All Seasons, and added an award badge die cut by MFT. The embossing folder is Darice and I used some old embroidery thread, bakers twine and a yellow brad. Some nice iced coffee is always a great way to start a summer day, isn't it?

Spring Coffee Season

I decided to do a series of coffee tags with the Stamplorations stamp set, Coffee for all Seasons.  I did summer already, and here is Spring. I used some old paper by DCWV and a tag die by Avery Elle. The stitched flag die is by LDRS, and the stitched label die, for that little bit peeking out from behind the tag, is by Stephanie Bernard.
Some bakers twine and that cute little yellow flower brad were the finishing touch. You're probably wondering if all I have is really old stash, and you would be half correct. I have a LOT of old stash, because I always take forever before I dig into new supplies or paper pads. They have to mellow before I'll use them, kind of like wine, haha!

Enjoy the Journey

I am having so much fun with the Layered Coffee Cup die by Kat Scrappiness. I used some really old tropical print paper that I got in the Target Dollar bin years ago. The paper is thin, but the patterns are really fun and I glad to find one last sheet in my stash. I used a sentiment by Stamplorations (Trendy Butterflies), along with a Stamplorations stencil on the cup sleeve (Prim Pattern). The stamped hibiscus is from an unmounted rubber stamp that I've had for years and is by Firecracker Designs. I colored it with alcohol markers and fussy cut. Do you see that I use more of the stenciled green paper to serve as a mat behind the sentiment? I don't know why I haven't been using my stencils more often but now I'm kind of hooked!

Butterfly Birthday

I used one of my favorite stencils by Stamploration on this layered coffee cup die by Kat Scrappiness, and then added a die cut butterfly by Pebbles Inc. The heat embossed sentiment is by CAS-ual Friday, and the paper is so old that I have no idea who made it! I love the little coffee lid detail that this die includes, and all the different looks you get, just by changing the colors and designs.

Take A Break

I pulled out some fun tropical beach-time papers and stamps and combined them with this Layered Coffee Cup die by Kat Scrappiness to make a fun summer design. The cup is embossed with an embossing folder by Darice, and the cup band is stamped with a tropical floral stamp set by Stampin' Up. Those cute sunglasses are from a REALLY old stamp set that I found for only $1.50 at Big Lots about 15 years ago. The stamps are all yellowed but still stamp perfectly. I combined it all with a sentiment by Mark's Finest Papers and popped it on a surfboard patterned paper. I'm ready for a tropical vacation, if only in my mind.

Coffee Time calendar

I used a digi stamp for this mini-calendar, which I gave to my sister (a true coffee lover). The paper is by DCWV and I colored the image with alcohol markers. The mini-calendar is by Taylored Expressions, and I added a magnet on the back. With the COVID19 shut down in California, my sister is working from home and let me know that she keeps her little calendar stuck to her metal document sorter, close at hand.

Bouquet

I combined dies by Spellbinders, and paper by Creative Memories, along with another layered sticker by K&Co. the glitter detail just doesn't show up in my photos but it gives a beautiful shimmer to the posy bouquet. More oatmeal seam binding ribbon, tied in a bow, and a heat-embossed sentiment by Winnie & Walter. I've been practicing my bow-making technique lately and think I've finally got it down!

More Easter Inspiration

I often use ink and ink blending to color white card stock when I don't have the right shade, and this was one of those times. I used a lot of scraps for this card, but just couldn't find the right shade of green for my negative die cut sentiment...so I inked it up.  One benefit of inking white card stock to customize your design is that it gives a subtle texture and interest to the paper that you wouldn't get with regular colored card stock.  The sentiment die and bunny die are all by Kat Scrappiness, and I added twine and rhinestones. I didn't manage to make my Easter cards in time to send out more than two or three, but I've got a few in my stash now to send next year. Let's just hope I remember this time!
