Tulip Time

Here is another card that I made with a few old embellishments that I made some time ago. I pulled out the paper-pieced tulips, added leaves from a Taylored Expressions die, and popped it on a stitched tag by Winnie and Walter. The die cut label is by Gina K Designs, and the sentiment is by Cardz TV. I used a dotted embossing folder by Cuttlebug and left the right side free of embossing, just to see what it looked like. That little green brad finishes off this CAS card.

  1. Pretty!!! Nice experimentation leaving part of the background plain.....adds a lot of subtle interest. Your layered tulip is so cheery and happy! Love the green border inking.

  4. Lovely card Karen - super use of snippets and I do like the un-embossed strip down one side of the card. Clever thinking.

  5. Love the embossed background. Adds so much to the card without overpowering it!
