Here is another old stamp from my stash, and I'm not even sure who made this one. It's mounted on a shaped plastic mount with a handle so I'm glad I don't have more like these, as storing them would be a pain. I combined this image with an embossing folder by Darice, square dies by Cottage Cutz, and even used some chocolate brown polka dotted ribbon (patting myself on the back for actually using ribbon, yikes!). I left it blank so I can add a suitable sentiment at some point. Believe it or not, I had only made two cat cards before the hop started, but once I got started, I couldn't stop! We are expecting our power to be turned off as early as tomorrow, as part of a push to prevent wildfires from starting in this high fire season. If that happens, I won't be able to stamp or craft at all, so I'm taking advantage of our power now!

Hey, Karen. Do you live in CA? Fortunately we've escaped the power outages but I've been up since 12:30 and smelled smoke. Possibly a fire in the hills around here but no longer hear sirens and either I'm used to the smoke after nearly 2 hours of insomnia or things are under control. (We're in Livermore, BTW) Hope you escape the outages too as well as any wild fires. Anyway, LOVE your design and the turquoise and brown color scheme ROCKS! I think I'm gonna take the advice of your cute kitties and say night night again. xxD
ReplyDeleteSuch a sweet card.. Love the image!

too long!! We lost just our internet last night for about 4 hours ... I was going mad!!! LOL
Sweet sweet image! Looks like a mumma cat and her baby all curled up on the window sill!
ReplyDeleteHow sweet is this?! Love the cozy feel AND the brown/teal color combo!

ReplyDeleteGood luck to you with the fires in your area. This is a sweet image and colored so nicely.
ReplyDeleteWow...there are several hoppers in Livermore, or not far from it! Stay safe all of you!!! We are past our fire season here in Idaho (whew!) but I KNOW what it is like.

what a sweet stamp and you have colored it wonderfully. love your color palette for the cute card! thanks for joining the lost coast design challenge.
ReplyDeleteNeat card done.
ReplyDeleteLove this colour combo and Yay for dusting off another older kitty stamp! I have a few of those plastic-handled stamps somewhere too but they are smaller than yours. And Yay for the ribbon too - I rarely remember to use it myself. Very cute card! You've got some wonderful kitty stamps and I love seeing them!
ReplyDeleteI've heard of those forced power outages and I am sorry you will have to go through that - it's bad enough when we lose our power for bad weather (which happens way too much for my liking). Hope you are safe from the wildfires, very scary.
I love this colour scheme and the stamp you used is so sweet. Two kittens cosying up on a starry night - what could be nicer? Beautiful make! xx
ReplyDeleteGood luck with the power outages. But Wildfires are so frightening...
ReplyDeleteI can't really complain as all we have is very heavy rain! And my printer has run out of ink so no digi printing!!
Anyway this is a lovely stamp and you have used it to make a super card!
Oh my goodness, what a sweet pair of kitties! Lovely project
