I used the Flurry Frame die by Poppystamps, and the deer image and sentiment from Origami Happy Holidays by Hero Arts for this card. The stitched oval is by Gina Marie and the origami deer is embossed in white. The actual sentiment stamp has a second line to it but I just stamped the part that I wanted to use. A few rhinestones add to the wintery snow feeling . Because I have trouble adhering intricate die cuts with lots of narrow lines, I left some of the negative bits in the die cut , which made it easier to glue.

Great card Karen - love the added sparkle. That die would be a nightmare to glue and h=great idea for leaving some of the bits inside. Thank you for joining us at ABC Christmas Challenge :) Lynda DT

ReplyDeleteThis is Gorgeous!! I love how you combined your dies and all of the elements to create your card, very elegant!
ReplyDeleteI love the mix of elements.. the fussy die cut border with the origami deer, and the bit of sparkle.. wonderful!
ReplyDeleteYour background die is fabulous! I had not seen that one before and just love it.
ReplyDeleteGreat card. The deer die is wonderful and looks so good here.
Thanks for taking part in the September Rudolph Days Challenge.
I adore that Flurry Frame! Each time I have seen you use it in the past, I have loved it more. Clever to keep some of the negative bits in the die to make it easier to attach. What a great backdrop for that unique origami deer..which looks fabulous stamped and embossed in white on navy! Love the extra wintery sparkle you added with the rhinestones, too.
