Yuletide Greetings

I told you I was in the mood to make Christmas cards, so here is another one. I have FOUR bins filled with Christmas papers, embellishments, ribbons, and stamped images that need to be colored. That doesn't count my Christmas stamps, which seem to multiply on their own! I try to sit down at least once a week and color images, arrange doo-dads on pretty papers, and add to my Christmas card stack. Many of the cards that I make are donated to nursing homes in the area, as so many of the residents and patients don't receive visitors or cards during the holidays. This is one of those for the donation stack, and I used papers from a magazine, along with a stitched tag die by Spellbinders. All I needed to do was add some scraps from my stash and a pretty gold star brad.

  1. Your donation cards are always so pretty and cheery!! I admire so much that you do that. I really like the bright background paper and that lovely border on the matting. This will certainly bring a grateful smile to someone next Christmas!!

  2. Excellent! Such a good use for these papers - I always feel guilty if I throw them away and have taken to sharing them with my local primary school. This one is a pretty background. Thank you for sharing this lovely piece with us at Unstampabelles for our first challenge in 2019.
