I colored him with alcohol markers, then paired it up with red and white checked paper from my stash, stitched circle die by Gina Marie, a sentiment by My Favorite Things, and a bit of grosgrain ribbon. Ribbon is something else I often forget to use so I'm trying to remedy that this year as well.
This image is called Seed Shooter, and makes me long for summer and watermelon (but I much prefer the seedless version).
Beautiful card and stamp used, great skills in your colouring details.. Thanks for entering our challenge theme of "LOVE/VALENTINE" and good luck in the draw.

Hello Karen, so nice to see you have taken the plunge into blogland. Must say looking at this image the ears tell me mouse. It is only when you look at the feet that they seem a bit big for a mouse.lol. Ref your butterfly question. Yes to enter the the third prize you just need to have made the card shape with a butterfly of course as the minimum requirement. It is up to you if you want to add any other of the requirements in. Didn't want to make it too difficult. Hugs Mrs A.
ReplyDeleteHmmmm.....this def looks like a mouse to me (perhaps a jumping mouse, but a mouse nonetheless!), but I will accept that it is a rabbit, I guess. No way would either a rabbit or a mouse spit out a watermelon seed, but the image is still adorable. lol... Fabulous coloring and fun summery colors on your papers. So glad you are posting some of your cards on your blog. For some reason it seems more inviting to comment here than on Flickr...no idea why! I love House Mouse images and was thinking last night I might try to squeak in with a card, too. Ha...we'll see!!
