As I've decided to make a real effort to pull out all those old supplies out of my stash and try to actually use them, instead of hoard them, I used this vellum quote and assorted brads and photo turns to make this little notepad holder. The stamps are from Keys and Roses by Tonic Studio. A bit of drywall mesh, colored with gold metallic pigment ink, along with some ribbon adds texture. I may whip up a whole batch of these for stocking stuffers as it's a great way to use odds and ends, and partial sheets of heavy card stock.

This has almost become vintage with the use of brads and photo holders! Love the effect. Thanks for sharing with us at Double Trouble :)
ReplyDeleteI think we all have the same problem Karen, hoarding comes naturally to us crafters. That's a really lovely quote although I think from your explanation is is pre printed as opposed stamped and we do ask at WLS that the focal element is stamped to reflect the theme.
