Karen, I feeeeeeeeeeeeeel your pain!!! This kind of thing happens to me all the time. I get this (what-silly-me-thinks-is-going-to-be-a) easy and fun card design and it ends up taking years off my life!! A crafty friend has a stamp she puts on the back of some of her cards that says something like "If you knew how long it took me to make this card, you would keep it forever!"...so true!! If we ever had the idea that making our own cards was going save time and/or money, we were certainly disabused of that mistaken impression some time back! Am I right?
ReplyDeleteIn the end, your card turned out just beautifully. No one would ever guess how much trouble it gave you. The colors are so pretty and cheery and I love the wreath you constructed. The birdie in the center looks fab against the woodgrain. Great job! It will all be worthwhile after that nap. :)
