Mediocre sheetcake

I had to make a birthday card for a 21 year old male and was stumped because I have no idea what his hobbies and interests are (besides video games!) So, I pulled out my Stampin' Up birthday stamp set, which has several humorous sentiments that are perfect for a guy. I added stars by MFT, and some yellow twine.

    This sentiment always makes me chuckle!! I feel the same way abt grocery store cakes. They look all nice and professionally decorated, but the taste is...meh. I'll take a homebaked slightly lopsided cake with uneven icing and shaky lettering any day!!

    Your card is just perfect for a young man. The bright and bold colors look great. I love how the points of the fish-tail banner echo the points on the stars. Great touch having one of the stars partially hidden behind the sentiment panel and banner....adds a nice bit of dimension.
